When I was a teacher, I would drive home every day in absolute silence.
Many times, I wouldn’t even turn the tv on before going to bed.
I needed time to regulate + recharge from “being on” all day.
Those who are easily overstimulated (light, noise, people) take refuge in turning down the psychological volume.
You deserve a safe, comfortable work environment.
