Y’all know I have a heart for our military and their rockstar families. Check this out!
Looking back over Jen’s Resume Builder Form reminds me how important mindset is for job seekers.
“I have held so many jobs, and will continue to do so as we move. I just want a position I can stay with long term, which is hard as a military spouse. The ability to work remotely is opening a lot of doors for me (us). I want to take the skills I have learned throughout my many positions and apply them.”
Hold up, there’s more!
“I am proud that I can learn new skills and adapt quickly. Because of moving often, I have learned and implemented numerous different curricula, school programs, and schedules. I have taught every grade level from K-5, and ESOL in 6-8. I adapted to the very different middle school scheduling quickly.”
Ya ready for it?
“I would love to work in content development and in training. I’m not sure if there is a way to combine them.”
Jen’s new role is EXACTLY THAT!!!
9 months into her new job and she shares, “It’s been the perfect change!”
I would say so!
You practically wrote the job description, Jen!
GOTTA.LOVE.IT.
“I’m very grateful for the resume Katie crafted for me, which highlighted the skills I already had in such a way that allowed me to be a real contender in the job market outside of public education.”
It’s my absolute pleasure. Your wins are my wins, from one proud Military Spouse to another!
