Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Katie Travis Consulting. These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Client”) and Katie Travis Consulting (“we,” “us” or “our”), concerning your access to and use of the KatieTravisConsulting.com website as well as any other media form, media channel, mobile website, or mobile application related, linked, or otherwise connected thereto (collectively, the “Site”).
By accessing the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you are expressly prohibited from using the Site and must discontinue use immediately. Supplemental terms may be posted on the Site from time to time, and we reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. By continuing to use the Site after such revisions, you accept the updated terms.
1. Definitions
Company: Katie Travis Consulting. Client: Individual or entity placing an order for a service or product. Product: Documents or services provided to assist clients in job searches or career transitions. Order: Client’s request for services or products. Website: KatieTravisConsulting.com or related platforms.
2. Completion of Assignments
Katie Travis Consulting will provide services as outlined in this Agreement upon receipt of the completed Resume Builder Form, sent within 24 hours of payment. The Resume Builder Form is due within 14 days of payment; delays may affect project timelines by 2-6 weeks. If not submitted within 14 days, a $150 Restart Fee will apply. Coaching Bundles must be completed within 6 weeks from purchase.
3. Edits, Proofing, and Deadlines
Editing and Proofing: Client must request any edits within 30 days of receiving the first draft. Edits requested after this period will incur a $150 Restart Fee. The client is solely responsible for proofing and final acceptance of documents. Target Changes: Requests for edits due to a change in career target after the Resume Builder Form submission will incur a $150 Restart Fee. Completion Timeline: After four months without Client activity, the project will be terminated, and no refunds will be issued.
4. Career Pivot Like a Boss Program
Access to course content and resources is valid for one year, and clients have access to 1:1 support with Katie via email, text, and Voxer and the private community during the 10-week course duration. Alumni membership options are available after the initial access period.
5. Refund and Guarantee Policy
Refunds are not available after initial payment. This applies to all services, including resume writing, cover letter services, LinkedIn optimization, programs, and private consultations. Appointments require 24-hour notice for rescheduling; cancellations without notice may forfeit session fees. Katie Travis Consulting makes no guarantees regarding interview or job placement outcomes.
6. Copyrights
All materials produced by Katie Travis Consulting are copyrighted under United States Intellectual Copyright Law (USICL). Upon full payment, Clients have limited rights to reproduce career documents such as resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles as defined by USICL. Unauthorized reproduction or sharing of materials is prohibited.
7. Privacy
Your use of the Site is subject to our Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review this policy to understand our data collection practices.
8. Promotional Materials
We reserve the right to contact Clients by email regarding new services, discounts, and other information deemed relevant. Clients may opt-out of marketing emails via a link provided in each message.
9. Limitation of Liability
Katie Travis Consulting is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to the services provided. Our maximum liability shall not exceed the total payment made by the Client.
10. Warranty Disclaimer
Our services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee employment outcomes or Site reliability, virus-free status, or uninterrupted access.
11. Indemnification
Clients agree to indemnify Katie Travis Consulting from any claims, losses, or liabilities arising from their use of the Site or services or from the violation of these Terms.
12. Payments
Payments are due at the time of purchase, via Stripe, in U.S. dollars. Clients will receive payment confirmation by email. Payment plans may be made through AfterPay or Klarna. By providing your card information, you allow Katie Travis Consulting to charge your card for future payments every two weeks in accordance with their terms. Note that by signing up, Client agrees to pay the full balance. If a payment plan is utilized, products, programs, guides, etc, will be dripped according to auto-payments every 2 weeks and first drafts will be sent after the balance is paid. If payment is more than 2 days late, course access will be paused until payment is submitted.
13. Testimonials
By submitting a testimonial, Clients grant permission for its use on our Site. We reserve the right to edit testimonials for clarity and grammar. Clients can request testimonial removal by contacting us.
14. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate services for any Client providing false information, engaging in fraudulent activities, or causing harm to our servers.
15. Consent to Terms
By accessing and using the Site, you consent to these Terms. Any changes to these Terms will be posted on this page, and continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance.
