Supporting Neurodivergent Brains in Coaching: My Empathetic Approach

Are you neurodivergent?
Cool! Me, too.
I’ve experienced firsthand how our unique brains work—and the challenges we often face in traditional systems. That’s why I’ve designed my coaching approach to be tailored, understanding, and, above all, flexible. I believe support should feel like support, not pressure.
What Makes This Approach Different?
Neurodivergence isn’t something to “fix.” It’s a different way of thinking, processing, and navigating the world. And I embrace that.
Here are just a few ways I show up for neurodivergent clients:
🟢 Summarize Key Points
After every session, I send a written summary of what we discussed, including action steps and next moves. This helps reduce the pressure to remember everything on the spot.
🟢 Allow Processing Time
Need a moment to gather your thoughts? Take all the time you need. I create a space where you never have to rush to respond or explain.
🟢 Squash the Overwhelm
We break things down into small, clear steps. No shame, no judgment. Just support that meets you where you are.
🟢 Sensory Considerations Welcome
Camera on or off? Totally up to you. You never have to mask with me—I understand sensory needs and respect your comfort.
You Know Your Brain Best
I’m always open to hearing what works for your beautiful brain. Whether it's communication preferences, structure, or scheduling—we’ll build something that actually works for you.
